…a hailstorm of tears… was commissioned and written for Thomas Rosenkranz which was supported by the Western Illinois University Piano Festival 2019. The composition was inspired by flowing tears consist of descending lines that portray a hailstorm. Only the highest couple of octaves and limited pedaling are used in this composition.
