“Darker than “Dark” is a dedication to Eric Ginsberg, a dear friend and colleague. The inspiration
comes from the flanger effect which. with different level of depth, creates oscillations with wide vibrato.
Thus creating a distorted timbral microtonal world that compliments the microtonal versatility of the
clarinet. It was premiered at the Western Illinois University Electroacoustic Music Macomb on September 22, 2021 by Eric Ginsberg.
